With a vision of providing quality education to the children of Varanasi, Mrs. Deesh Ishrat a visionary and educationalist started the Sunbeam School, at a rented place in Ravindrapuri, Varnasi in the year 1972. Mrs. Deesh Ishrat ”The Iran Lady” as we call her single handedly with her timeless efforts and continuous support of Dr. Amrit Lal Ishrat, who was the Professor of Persian Language at the Prestigious Banaras Hindu University, laid the foundation of DALIMSS Sunbeam School in the year 1994 in memory of her husband Late Dr. Amrit Lal Ishrat a renowned scholar of Persian and Urdu, which is now recognised as one of the leading Educational Institute of not only Varanasi but of whole Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
